Generation Z, specifically those between the ages of 18 and 23, will arguably feel the shockwaves of the global pandemic most acutely in the coming years. Whether it’s ambitions for a dream job being derailed or missing out on social milestones that many will have previously taken for granted, the young have had to put their lives on hold. What is the economic, social and health-related fallout that we should be preparing for, and how do we meet the priorities of young people to ensure that they thrive in the face of apparent adversity? Writer and economist Grace Blakeley (The Corona Crash), policy expert and generations researcher Bobby Duffy (Generations) and psychologist Bruce Hood join Julia Wheeler to explore how a generation of young people have been transformed by their experiences of Covid-19 and what we can do to define the world beyond it.
